Friends of the Hylebos loves children. We want to ensure that our young Hylebos volunteers have a good and safe experience volunteering.

Whether a volunteer project is suitable for your children depends on your child's age, temperament and the specific project. If you'd like to have your children volunteer, we ask that you discuss the project with Restoration Coordinator Hillary Kleeb first to make sure the project is a good fit.

We require that children under 16 are accompanied by a parent, guardian or is part of a school group where there is adult supervision.

All volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a liability waiver before being allowed to volunteer.
