The Friends recognizes the value of responsible development to the community's economy, and actively seeks to work with developers to ensure development minimizes harm to the watershed, and where possible, enhances the Hylebos Creek environment.

We are working with Washington Department of Transportation on the SR 167 Highway Project to realize extensive restoration of the Lower Hylebos Creek. Past projects we have worked on include the Meadow on the Hylebos Low Impact Development in Fife, Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way, and the Christian Faith Center, among others.
