Ruby Dance Steering Committee
Description of the duties and functions of the board's Ruby Dance Steering Committee
The Ruby Dance Steering Committee is comprised of board, staff and volunteers who plan the Friends' keystone fundraiser, the Ruby Dance, held in late September of each year.
Potential committee members should have an enthusiasm for fun fundraising events. Past event planning experience is helpful, but not required.
Time Commitment: Moderate. Committee members meet several times between January and September and also take on specific event-related tasks such as auction item procurement or event decor.
