Hylebos Volunteer Opportunities

Listing of upcoming opportunities to volunteer

Help make the Hylebos a healthier watershed by volunteering with the Friends. We have a range of opportunities from habitat restoration and water quality monitoring to volunteering for Ruby Dance.

Upcoming Stream Team Events

We are planning to have five volunteer habitat restoration events this fall. Check the calendar for scheduled events. Sign up for our volunteer email list. You can also contact Restoration Coordinator Hillary Kleeb for more information.

Ruby Dance Volunteers

Our fourth annual Ruby Dance Stewardship Dinner is coming, September 27th. Volunteers are needed to help with event set-up, guest registration, and more. This is a fun way to support the Friends and meet other volunteers. Contact Development and Outreach Coordinator Sheila Jackson for more information.

Board Volunteering

The Friends is currently looking board member candidates, particularly with an emphasis on fundraising skills or legal background.

We are also seeking non-board volunteers to work with the board Financial Management committee, Fund Development Committee, and Ruby Dance steering Committee. If you're interested please contact Executive Director Chris Carrel.
