Have you ever been curious about the salmon in our area? Salmon Watcher volunteers agree to watch for salmon in Hylebos Creek from one particular bridge in Fife, for a minimum of an hour a week, between October and January. 

The training will be on Saturday, October 4th, from 10am-2pm, and we will visit a stream and hatchery.  With any luck we'll be able to see salmon spawning in the creek, and be able to look closely at salmon in the hatchery, and volunteers will have the opportunity to ask questions in the field.
